Please note:
1. The €200 booking deposit minus any deductions for Electricity usage overruns or damage costs will be refunded within 5 weeks of departure provided you stay to the end of your agreed tenancy term.
2. The services fee includes waste disposal, grounds maintenance and TV Licence.
3. Parking and internet is free of charge.

Hidden Charges:

Gateway has a fair and open pricing policy and there are no hidden charges for parking or routine apartment maintenance and repairs. Deliberate or malicous damage will however be chargable!

Services Fee

This non-refundable €330 fee includes waste disposal, grounds maintenance and  TV licence for the full academic year.

Electricity

A non-refundable charge of €300 per person applies. A meter reading will be taken at start of term (or when you take up residency) and charges and divided equally between occupants when you vacate. (i.e 2 occupants divided by 2 or 3 occupants divided by 3).  Any overruns in electricity are deducted from the booking deposit.

Payment of Services and Other Notes

Payment of all services will be deducted at the end of your tenancy from your deposits, as will any breakages or repairs to your apartment caused by you. Any refund due back will be returned to you by post.

Cancelled bookings before 24th August 2012 will lead to a cancellation fee of €100. Any cancellations after this date will lead to a forfeit of the full €200 deposit. In the event of early departure rent will not be refunded.

If you have just paid the €200 booking deposit then the €630 electricity and services fee must be paid at least 2 weeks before arrival. Accommodation charges must be paid before checkin or on arrival. Checkin will not be permitted until accommodation charge is paid.

Tenancy Agreements and P.R.T.B forms must be returned completed and signed, failure to do so will result in the termination of your tenancy, A copy of your tenancy agreement can be viewed and downloaded online and must terms must be accepted before booking. A copy of the agreement has also been sent to the Students Union at I.T. Sligo.

2 Passport photo I.Ds must accompany your application form, your application to Gateway Apartments may not be processed without them and could result in your apartment been allocated to another applicant. Photos are needed in the event that a Gateway Employee needs to ensure a guests identity for security reasons.

Parking in Gateway is free & for residents only! Due to the limited number of spaces parking is only for staying students. Each student with a car will receive a parking permit at checkin and must notify reception if you change your car. Unauthrosied cars will be clamped & proceeds go to a local charity.

We strongly advise that you purchase an insurance policy that adequately covers your personal belongings in the event of theft loss or damage.
